Club Facilities and Activities
Moorings. The MYC does not
have docking facilities. However, Club owned or managed moorings
are available for members at reasonable rates. Tender parking is
available at the club premises.
Races and Regattas. MYC sponnsors
races and regatas at various time during the year to include an
annual Memorial Weekend race to Rota, an annual Guam-Japan Good
Will Regatta and annual Commodore's Cup Regatta. Races and regattas
are announced as scheduled..
Canteen. The MYC canteen is
open for dinner on Friday evenings and for snacks and drinks on
Saturdays and Sundays.
Reciprocal Privileges.
Current members of recognized yacht clubs may use
Marianas Yacht Club facilities on a reciprocal basis and are granted
free club membership for two weeks. Visitors who remain on Guam
longer than two weeks will be charged fees for use of club facilities.
Moorings. Club owned or managed
moorings, if available, may be used by visiting members of other
yacht clubs free of charge for up to two weeks. After that reasonable
fees may be charged.
Tender Parking. Visiting yachts may leave
their tenders on the Club premises while ashore. While generally
safe, the Club is not staffed 24 hours per day and is not responsible
for tenders left unattended.
Mail Holding. Visiting yachts
may have mail sent MYC to be held for arrival at: Marianas Yacht
Club, PO Box 2297, Hatagna, Guam 96932, USA. As a U.S. territory,
Guam is served by the U.S. Postal Service.
Showers. Outdoor showers are available at
no charge to visiting yachts.
